Osteopathy and Integrative Breathing Therapy

Rosalba is an osteopath with over 40 years of experience in clinical practice and highly experienced in all types of osteopathic treatments. She is also skilled in breathing therapies, mind-body medicine and orofacial myofunctional therapy - often combining these treatments in her patient care.
Rosalba treats both adults and children with a broad range of conditions related to nasal and upper airway difficulties, mouth breathing, dysfunctional breathing, asthma and COPD, stress, anxiety, autonomic nervous system dysregulation, sleep disordered breathing and muscular-skeletal, craniofacial, TMJ and spinal pain.
She treats patients individually and runs several small group programs at GenBiome including;

- Functional Breathing Retraining
- Breath, Mind, Body Stress Reduction
She has a PhD from RMIT University on the subject of dysfunctional breathing and has published widely in the scientific literature on breathing assessment and on breathing therapy for the treatment of children, asthma, sleep apnea and difficult to treat conditions related to breathing dysfunction.
Rosalba is a member of various professional bodies including the Osteopathic Research Alliance (ORA), Osteopathy Australia (OA), Australian Traditional Medicine Society (ATMS) and the International Society for the Advancement of Respiratory Psychophysiology (ISARP).
Rosalba holds a research position at Southern Cross University. She regularly lectures in Australia and internationally.
