I am a GP with over a decade of experience, originally from Perth but now a proud South Australian. After completing an Honours degree in Pathology at the University of Western Australia, I managed a start-up biotherapy company and worked as a Business Consultant in Australia and the UAE. I later completed my MD at Flinders University and trained across Lyell McEwin and Modbury Hospitals. My passion for general practice has taken me from Adelaide to remote communities in East Arnhem Land, NT, and now to Mt Barker, where I continue to practise rural medicine. I specialise in men’s and women’s health, paediatrics, chronic conditions, and obstetric shared care, with particular interests in mental health, women’s health, and weight loss management. I am currently pursuing further qualifications in Lifestyle Medicine and have a strong commitment to Aboriginal Health. As an Academic at Flinders University, I also teach medical students and mentor GP trainees.

About

I grew up in Perth but moved to Adelaide over 10 years ago to pursue my medical studies at Flinders University, and I now proudly call myself a South Australian. My journey in medicine began with an Honours degree in Pathology from the University of Western Australia. After that, I managed a start-up biotherapy company and worked as a Business Consultant across Australia and the UAE.

Upon completing my Doctor of Medicine (MD), I gained valuable experience at Lyell McEwin and Modbury Hospitals before specialising in General Practice. As a GP, I have had the opportunity to work in Adelaide, Gawler, and more recently, in the remote community of Nhulunbuy in East Arnhem Land, NT. My experience practising in these diverse settings has been incredibly rewarding, allowing me to make a meaningful impact on the lives of patients and their families. I have recently moved back to beautiful Mt Barker with my family to continue my commitment to rural medicine.

I provide comprehensive medical care across various areas, including men’s and women’s health, paediatrics, chronic disease management, and obstetric shared care. My particular interests lie in mental health, women’s health, and weight loss management, and I am currently pursuing additional qualifications in Lifestyle Medicine. I am also passionate about Aboriginal Health and have enjoyed working in remote regions of the Northern Territory.

In addition to my clinical work, I am an Academic at Flinders University, where I teach medical students and mentor doctors in their GP training. Outside of medicine, I enjoy spending time with my family and immersing myself in the community.
