Hon Dr Joseph Randolph Bowers is a Senior Specialist Counsellor Psychotherapist with Lifestyle Medicine expertise. His qualifications include PhD Health Couns, D.D., Hon D.D., MEd Couns, GCHE, Dip Ericksonian Hypno, CPNLP, BA Distinction, HACA. Joseph received his PhD from the School of Health, UNE, and taught for twenty years in the university sector in Australia and Canada in health counselling, education, and indigenous studies. Dr Bowers is a co-founder of the Counselling profession in Australia, including the first disciplinary research journal with ACA. He is a member of the Australasian Society of Lifestyle Medicine. For the past decade Joseph works in community practice focusing in senior clinical specialist behaviour support. Dr Bowers' practice focuses in NDIS Registered funded services including Clinical Behaviour Specialist assessment and treatment planning.
