Dr. Stacey Ler is a GP from the Gold Coast, holding a Doctor of Medicine (MD) and Bachelor of Medical Science (BMedSci) from Griffith University. She was the first Queensland student to gain guaranteed entry through the Griffith Connect Admission Scheme. Dr. Ler has worked at Gold Coast University Hospital, earning multiple commendations and a nomination for Junior Doctor of the Year in 2018. A strong advocate for general practice, she has served on several key committees, including Chair of the Gold Coast Primary Health Network (GCPHN) Clinical Council, and was Director of General Practice Gold Coast in 2022. In 2023, Dr. Ler completed a Graduate Certificate in Travel Medicine from James Cook University, earning the Travel Health Advisory Group Medal. She also holds the International Society of Travel Medicine’s Certificate of Travel Health and a Graduate Certificate in Women's Health from UNSW (2024).
