Dr. Sarah Cunningham
About
Dr. Sarah Cunningham earned her medical degree from Monash University in 2002 with Honours. She completed her internship and medical residency at the Alfred Hospital. Her specialist training began in 2006 with the Royal Australian and New Zealand College of Psychiatrists (RANZCP). Dr. Cunningham has extensive experience in various psychiatric sub-specialties including consultation-liaison psychiatry, psychotherapy, perinatal psychiatry, addiction medicine and occupational psychiatry. She is accredited in the AMA4 guides (GEPIC) and holds a public appointment as a Consultant Psychiatrist at The Alfred Hospital. Her special interests include PTSD and trauma-related disorders, historical sexual abuse, women's mental health, addiction psychiatry and occupational psychiatry.
