With dual qualifications in child, adolescent, and adult psychiatry from Hong Kong and Australia, Dr. Yan brings extensive international experience to her practice. She has worked as a consultant psychiatrist in both regions and previously served as an Honorary Clinical Assistant Professor in Psychiatry at the Chinese University of Hong Kong before relocating to Sydney.

Her professional credentials include Fellowship of The Royal Australian & New Zealand College of Psychiatrists (FRANZCP), Fellowship of the Hong Kong College of Psychiatrists (FHKCPsych), and Fellowship of the Hong Kong Academy of Medicine in Psychiatry (FHKAM). Dr. Yan's academic background began with a degree in molecular biotechnology, followed by general medical training in Hong Kong.

She is particularly dedicated to treating mental health conditions in children, adolescents, and young adults, such as ADHD, autism spectrum disorder, depression, bipolar disorder, psychosis, anxiety disorders, eating disorders, and personality disorders, and has experience in addiction psychiatry, psychotherapy, and forensic psychiatry.
