About
Andrea's experience in healthcare is extensive. For more than 18 years she has dedicated her professional life to promoting and supporting optimal health outcomes for individuals and populations. Her practice has included clinical nutrition, dietetics and breastfeeding services in the public and private sectors, service quality improvement, research, developing models of care, delivering state-wide preventive health initiatives, and contributing to policy development at the national level.
She is experienced working with the general population, disadvantaged population groups, in maternity services, and with people living with severe mental illness. In hospital wards and clinics, to community health centres and public health units, to health system strategy, planning and expansion. Andrea has published to the peer reviewed literature and is passionate about increased equity and access to services, and ultimately improved health outcomes and quality of life for individuals, communities and across the population. Committed to lifelong learning, her professional development remains ongoing and she is excited to offer extended and holistic services including coaching, breathwork and meditation in the near future.
