She holds a PhD in Molecular Biology and is certified by the Institute of Functional Medicine (US) and board-certified in Lifestyle Medicine. Her areas of interest include gut health, autoimmune disease, endometriosis, PCOS, fertility, perimenopause/menopause, metabolic issues, cardiovascular disease, and sports nutrition.

I am passionate about reducing chronic disease and supporting overall health with individualised and tailored nutrition & lifestyle plans. A fundamental philosophy at NutritionFx is to use food & nutrition therapy to protect the liver, feed the gut and support the brain. Passionate about the difference health coaching makes to client outcomes and the effectiveness of a health professional’s consultation, Sharon trains health professionals to become Health Coaches in her business Accredited Health Coaching Australia and as a lecturer in the James Cook University Lifestyle Medicine Qualification.

Dr Verity-Foulkes Taylor is a board certified Lifestyle Medicine Doctor with special interest in women's health and paediatrics.
