Dr Hung Nguyen

Dr Hung Nguyen is the President of Australasian Society of Lifestyle Medicine. Hung's dedication to Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander Health and Multicultural Health is longstanding. His primary passion lies in medical and cultural education, allowing him to profoundly impact people's lives through teaching and learning, governance and leadership. With extensive experience as a GP and Medical and Cultural Educator, he has served diverse communities in urban, rural, and remote settings in the Northern Territory and Victoria. Currently practicing as a GP at Bunurong Health Service in Dandenong, Victoria, an Aboriginal Community Controlled Health Service, Hung also mentors GP trainees as a GP Supervisor for Eastern Victoria General Practice Training.

Dr. Toan Nguyen

Toan earned his degree from the Faculty of Medicine at Saigon University in Vietnam in 1979. Upon relocating to Australia, he achieved a Bachelor of Medicine and Bachelor of Surgery from Flinders University School of Medicine in 1987. With a wealth of experience in general practice, he served as a visiting GP at the Adelaide Childrenís Hospital from 1988 to 1999. Proficient in both English and Vietnamese, he holds membership in the Australian Lifestyle Medicine Association (ALMA) and the Royal Australian College of General Practitioners (RACGP).
