The Illawarra Shoalhaven Local Health District (ISLHD) provides health services to approximately 400,000 residents in the Illawarra Shoalhaven region, encompassing the Wollongong, Kiama, Shellharbour, and Shoalhaven Local Government Areas. As one of the region’s largest employers, ISLHD boasts a workforce of over 8,500 staff. We operate eight hospital sites and deliver community health services from around 58 locations across the region.
